  • If you have an iPhone, go onto the Apple Store and type Noerden into the search bar. Select and download the NOERDEN Life App.
  • If you have an Android smartphone, you can download the NOERDEN Life App the same way with the Google Play store.
  1. Open the NOERDEN Life App.
  2. Click on “Create an account”
  3. Enter your name and your email address.
  4. Choose a password and click on “OK”.
  5. Open your mailbox, open the email you received from NOERDEN and click on the link to activate your account. If you don’t see an email from NOERDEN, please check your spam box.

2. Bring your watch close to your smartphone.
3. Open the NOERDEN Life App.
4. Click “Add New Device” and select the model of the watch you want to add.
5. If your phone’s Bluetooth is turned on, click “NEXT”; otherwise, turn on the Bluetooth of your phone.
6. Turn on your watch by holding down the button for 3 seconds.
A flashing light and a vibration will indicate that the watch is on.
7. Click on “NEXT”.
8. The watch Appears in the list of nearby devices, click on the model of your watch.
9. The indicator light flashes red and green, press the button of the watch once.
10. Name your watch and click “OK”.
11. If the “Pair” command on your phone Appears, click on “PAIR”.
12. If the hands on your watch are 12 o’clock, press “YES”. Otherwise, press “NO” and indicate the time displayed by the hands of your watch.

1. Open the NOERDEN Life App.
2. Click on “Device” at the bottom.
3. Make sure your watch is connected.
4. Look at the battery bar at the top right to see the current battery usage.

The watch hands will automatically indicate noon to signal low battery. If you want to enter “low power” mode, press the watch button. The indicator light will blink red for 5 seconds and the watch will disable all connected functions.

To decrease or save the battery consumption of your watch, you can temporarily disable Bluetooth. To do so, please follow these steps:
1. Open the NOERDEN Life App.
2. Click on “Device” at the bottom.
3. Click on “Disable Bluetooth Mode”.

The watch has a data storage capacity of up to 30 days. Thus, you will not lose your data for up to a month while Bluetooth is disabled. Turn Bluetooth back on to synchonize your watch’s data with the App.

To check if your watch is connected to your phone, press the watch button once. The indicator light will flash for a long time, signaling that it’s connected.
If your watch is disconnected from your phone when you press the watch button once, the indicator light will flash several times quickly. Press the watch button once:

– If the indicator light flashes once for a long time, it means that your watch is connected to your smartphone.
– If the indicator light flashes 6 or 7 times quickly, it means that the Bluetooth wireless connectivity of your watch is activated, but the watch is not connected to your smartphone.
– If the indicator light does not flash, it means that your watch’s Bluetooth wireless connectivity is turned off and your watch is not connected to your smartphone.

You can also check your watch’s connection using the NOERDEN Life App:
On the home page of the NOERDEN Life App at the top a “connected” or “disconnected” indication will inform you of the connection status of the watch.
In addition, on the “Device” page, the “Connected device” or “Disconnected device” indicator will inform you of the connection status of the watch in the App.

1. To change a silicone bracelet or leather strap:
– Turn the watch over and place it on a flat surface.
– Press the quick release pins to detach the spring bars from the lug ends to remove the strap.

2. To attach a silicone bracelet or leather strap:
– Turn the watch over and place it on a flat surface.
– Press the quick release pins and insert the spring bars into the lug ends to attach the strap.

3. To attach a Nato bracelet:
– Insert the quick release spring bars into the lug ends.
– Thread the long side of the Nato bracelet between the lug end and the watch frame. Then pull the NATO bracelet through the first spring bar and then through the second spring bar, securing the watch frame to the NATO bracelet.
– Insert the remaining Nato bracelet ‘tongue’ into the metal spring bar attached to the bracelet.

In order to avoid water damage, we recommend that you let a professional replace the battery. As the operation requires professional equipment and technique.

* The warranty will be void if the battery was not changed by a professional and water damage occurs.

You may want to do a factory reset:
Say for instance, if you give the watch to another person or if you are experiencing some technical sync issues. Then you may want to erase the watch’s data with a factory reset.
The factory reset allows you to erase all data that has been recorded on the watch.
If you do not remove your watch from your App, after a factory reset your watch can be connected to your App again without having to perform a new installation.

How to perform a factory reset:
– Make sure your watch is on.

> For LIFE2/LIFE2+/MATE2 watch models:
– Hold down the watch button for 6 seconds, the indicator light on the front of your watch will blink red 1 time. This indicates that your watch is off.
– To restart your watch, press and hold the watch button for 3 seconds. The indicator light on the front of your watch will flash red 2 times quickly. This indicates that your watch is on and Bluetooth wireless connectivity is enabled.

> For LIFE/LIFE+/MATE/MATE+/CITY watch models:
– Hold down the watch button for 8 seconds, the indicator light on the front of your watch will blink slowly 7 times. This indicates that your watch is off.
– To restart your watch, press and hold the watch button for 3 seconds. The indicator light on the front of your watch will flash 6 times quickly. This indicates that your watch is on and Bluetooth wireless connectivity is enabled.

The factory reset is complete and the data stored in your watch has been erased.

To unpair your watch from your phone:
1. Go to the settings of your smartphone.
2. Click on “Bluetooth”.
3. Click on the “i” icon on the right of Noerden watch name in your phone’s Bluetooth settings.
4. Click on “forget this device”.
Your NOERDEN watch is no longer paired with your phone.

The button is used to:
– Turn on or off the watch.
– Turn on or turn off the Bluetooth wireless connectivity of the watch.
– Check the connection status of your watch.
– Trigger the camera of your phone for the Camera Remote Control
– Reject an incoming call.
– Make a factory reset.

1. If you press the watch button once:
– If the watch indicator flashes continuously for a few seconds, it means that your watch is connected to your smartphone.

– 6 or 7 fast flashes means that your watch’s Bluetooth wireless connectivity is turned on, but it’s not connected to your smartphone.

– If the indicator light does not flash, it means that your watch’s Bluetooth wireless connectivity is turned off. With this status, the hands of the watch work and the watch will display the time.

– If the indicator light flashes 4 times, it means that your watch is off. With this status, the hands of the watch do not move, so the watch will not display the time.

2. If you press and hold the watch button for 3 or 4 seconds:
– For LIFE/LIFE+/MATE/MATE+:
> If the watch indicator flashes once, it means that you have turned off the Bluetooth wireless connectivity of your watch.
> If the watch indicator flashes 6 or 7 times quickly, it means you have turned on the Bluetooth wireless connectivity of your watch.

– For LIFE2/LIFE2+/MATE2:
> If the indicator light flashes red 2 times quickly. This indicates that your watch is on and Bluetooth wireless connectivity is enabled.

3. If you press the watch button while holding it down for about 8 seconds (for LIFE/LIFE+/MATE/MATE+/CITY watch models only):
– If the watch indicator flashes 7 times slowly, it means that you have turned off your watch and are doing a factory reset. With this status, the hands of the watch do not move, so the watch will not display the time.

4. If you press the watch button while holding it down for about 6 seconds (for LIFE2/LIFE2+/MATE2 watch models only):
– If the watch indicator flashes red 1 time, it means that you have turned off your watch and are doing a factory reset. With this status, the hands of the watch do not move, so the watch will not display the time.

We strongly recommend you to use the following battery brands: Panasonic, Maxwell and Renata.

The NOERDEN watches are water resistant to 3ATM for LIFE and LIFE+, 5ATM for MATE, MATE+, LIFE2, LIFE2+ and MATE2.
For example, you can take a shower with your watch, swim on the surface of the water, but it is not recommended that you dive deep.

Yes, the water resistance of the watch can be affected by changing the battery if you do it yourself. In order to retain the water resistance of the watch and to avoid damaging it, we recommend that a professional replaces the battery. This operation requires professional equipment and technique.

IMPORTANT:
The warranty will be void if the battery has not been changed by a professional.

Yes, the width of the bracelets you use must be :

> 18 mm for LIFE and LIFE+ models
> 20 mm for MATE, MATE2, LIFE2 and LIFE2+ models
> 22 mm for MATE+ and CITY models.

Yes, you can clean your watch with water.
However, make sure that the water resistance case is not been affected when changing the battery.

We carry out many shock and drop tests during our manufacturing process. NOERDEN watches are solid and of strong quality and can withstand minor shocks. However, they are not resistant to shocks of great magnitude and we advise refraining from shocks and drops outside of normal watch use.

The minimum recommended age for product use is 4 years old. However, the minimum age by law to create a user account is 15 years old.
In any case, monitor children while they use NOERDEN products.

Precisely check the list of components used for your watch model. Consult your doctor if you have any preexisting allergies.

Your NOERDEN watch can record and store up to a month of data.

Place your smartphone close to the body scale.
1. Make sure that your phone’s Bluetooth is on.
2. Open the NOERDEN Life App.
3. Click on “add a device”.
4. Select the model of the body scale you want to add.
5. The body scale now Appears on the list of nearby devices, please select the correct model.
6. Step on the body scale without shoes or socks and make sure that your bare feet are touching all 4 sensors.
7. Click on “Start Body Analysis” in the App.
8. Once “8888” or “—-” is displayed on the screen, your body composition data will be displayed in the NOERDEN App.

ATTENTION:
If you step on the body scale while wearing shoes or socks only your body weight will be recorded.

1. Open the NOERDEN Life App.
2. Scroll down on the Homepage and click anywhere on the weigh-in icon.
You will be redirected to a more detailed weigh-in page. Click any of the 9 body composition points and your most recent information will be displayed.

The NOERDEN Life App consists of three main pages: the Homepage, a Device page and your Profile. The Homepage provides an overview of your activity, the Device page lets you control smart functions, and the Profile page is used to manage your account.

1. On the Homepage, you can:
– Scroll through your activity : your steps, sleep, weight, last NOERDEN photo, last training, etc.
– View your activity in detail. For example, if you click on the Steps page you will be directed to a detailed analysis of your walk activity. You can see this information by day, week, month or year.
– Access your history and define your goals.
– Share your activity analysis by clicking on the share icon at the top right of the App page. Then select your preferred social media or email to share your data.
Click on the arrow at the top left to return to the Homepage.
By clicking on the Sleep page, you can access the your sleep analysis details the same way.

2. On the Device page, you can:
– Add a new device to the App by pressing the “+” icon.
– Connect or disconnect your watch by pressing the connect icon.
– Calibrate your watch’s time by following the instructions in the App.
– Access the camera remote control function.
– Enable or disable different notifications for: incoming calls, text messages, social media, alarms and the “Do not disturb” function.
– Enable or disable Bluetooth, which will connect or disconnect your watch and your smartphone.
– Enable or disable music control
– Remove your device from the App.

3. On the Profile page, you can:
– Choose your profile photo and background photo.
– View and edit your account information.
– View and edit your goals.
– Update your App, change your password, send a message to NOERDEN, share data with WeRun and ask to receive your personal data by email.
– Delete your account.

  1. Open the NOERDEN Life App.
  2. Click on “Profile” on the bottom right.
  3. Click on “My Information”.
    • To choose or change your background photo, click on the wallpaper and select a photo.
    • To choose or change your profile picture, click on the camera icon and select a photo.
    • You can edit your information by clicking on the section you wish to update.
  4. Then click “Save” at the top right to save your changes.

If you are connected to the NOERDEN Life App, first disconnect from the App by following the instructions below:

  • In the NOERDEN Life App, click on “Profile” at the bottom right.
  • Click on “”Settings”.

Now that you are disconnected from the NOERDEN Life App:

  • Open the NOERDEN Life App.

All our watches are packaged in OFF mode and therefore need to be turned ON when you use them for the first time.
To turn your watch on, press the watch button:
> for 3 seconds if you have a LIFE, LIFE+, MATE or MATE+ watch.

A flashing light will indicate that the watch is on.

  5. Your watch will calibrate to the correct time based on your phone.

Thanks to the automatic synchronization of the time, if you travel and change your time zone, your watch will be set automatically. When your smartphone changes timezone, a command Appears in the NOERDEN Life App telling you that you have changed your time zone. Click “OK” and your watch will automatically go to time.

So that the automatic time synchronization of your watch works make sure that:

  • The time of your smartphone is well synchronized with the new time zone.
  • Your watch is well connected to your NOERDEN Life App.

If your watch is not at the desired time:

  1. Open the NOERDEN Life App.
  2. Click the “Device” button at the bottom.
  3. Click on “Setting the time”
    • If the hands of your watch display 12h press “YES”.
    • Otherwise, press “NO” and indicate the time displayed by the hands of your watch.
  4. Click on “OK”. The watch is on time.
  1. Open the NOERDEN Life App.
  2. Click on “Profile” on the bottom right.
  3. Click on “My goals”:
    • To change your goals, click on the pen and paper icon to the right of the desired tab.
    • Scroll up or down to pick your goal preference.
  4. Click “OK” to save changes.

1. Open the NOERDEN Life App.
2. Make sure your LIFE watch is connected to the NOERDEN Life App.
3. On the homepage click on the “UV” tab.
4. Click the “Click to analyze” button.
5. Position your watch in the sun, making sure that the UV sensor at the bottom of the watch face is well exposed to the sun.
6. Press the “Start UV Analysis” button.
The analysis starts, keep your watch exposed to the sun during the analysis.

It is always highly recommended to protect your skin. The indications collected by the watch are simple references and in no way represent medical advice. Consult your doctor for advice. LIFE, LIFE+, MATE and MATE+ watches are not professional equipment for measuring the UV level.

  1. Open the NOERDEN Life App.
  2. Click on “Device” at the bottom.
  3. Click on “Camera Remote Control”. If your phone asks you to confirm permission to access the camera and photo album, click on “Confirm”.
  4. To take a picture, press the watch button or shake the watch.

Pictures taken with your watch Appear in your phone’s photo album.

No. With the camera remote control you can only take pictures.

  1. Open the NOERDEN Life App.
  2. Click on “”Device”” at the bottom.
  3. Click on “Smart Notifications”.
  4. Here you can enable or disable different notifications:
    • Incoming calls
    • Text messages
    • Social media
    • Alarms
    • The “Do not disturb” function.

If you turn certain notifications on, when your phone is locked your watch will vibrate when you receive a notification.

Open the NOERDEN Life App.

  1. Click on “Device” at the bottom middle.
  2. Then, tap “Smart Notifications”.
  3. Click on “Alarm”.
  4. Choose an alarm time.
    • If you want to repeat this alarm, click on “Repeat” and select the desired days, then press “OK”.

Your watch must be connected via Bluetooth to set up this function. During the selected alarm time, your watch will then vibrate for 8 seconds. To stop the alarm, press the button once. The indicator light will flash once in red and your watch will vibrate once.

  1. Open the NOERDEN Life App.
  2. Click on “Device” at the bottom.
  3. Tap “Smart Notifications”.
  4. Click on “Do not disturb” to enable or disable the function.
  5. Enter the start time and the end time.

Your watch must be connected via Bluetooth to enable this function. In “Do not disturb” mode, all calls and notifications will be silent (except alarms).

To use this function, your watch must be connected to your phone via Bluetooth.

Press the watch button twice consecutively so your phone rings. You will also receive a notification on your phone.

If your phone is on silent mode, it will vibrate.

For your phone to vibrate on silent mode, you need to enable “Vibrate on Silent” mode in your phone settings.

  1. Open the NOERDEN Life App.
  2. Click on “Device” at the bottom.
  3. Tap “Music Control” to turn the function on or off.

Your watch must be connected via Bluetooth for this function and you must grant the App access to your music Apps. You can then control the music by tapping the glass screen of your watch:

  • Tap the glass screen twice to skip to the next song.
  • Tap the glass screen three times to replay a song.

1. Open the NOERDEN Life App.
2. Scroll down on the home page and click on the Training page at the bottom.
3. Select a sport : Run / Cycle / Active walk.

If you are using this feature for the first time, please allow the App to access your location information when you use the App by clicking “Allow”.

You will be able to consult the details of your activity at the end of your training, as well as the route covered.
If you want to share your activity details, click on “Share my performance” at the end of your training.
You can also browse your training history, by clicking on the graph icon at the top right of the “Training” section.

1. Open the NOERDEN Life App.
2. Scroll down on the home page and click the Training button at the bottom.
3. Select HIIT.

You now have the choice between selecting a preplanned HIIT session, selecting specific exercises or customizing your own session.
For the custom session, you only need to define your own intervals: exercise time, rest time and number of sets.
For the preplanned sessions, simply choose a level of difficulty (Moderate / Intermediate / Advanced).

In any case:
The watch vibrates 5 times to indicate the beginning of the training.
It will vibrate 3 times at the end of each exercise time and each rest period.
Finally, it will vibrate 5 times to signal the end of the training session.

You will be able to consult the details of your activity at the end of your training.
If you want to share your activity details, click on “Share my performance” at the end of your training.
You can also browse your training history, by clicking on the graph icon at the top right of the “Training” section.

Every time you open the NOERDEN App, your watch will connect automatically with the App via Bluetooth.
The data synchronization process will then begin. After a few seconds your data will be fully synchronized.

For LIFE/LIFE+/MATE/MATE+/CITY watch models:
You can synchronize your data manually by sliding your finger down at the top of any App page and releasing it when the “Release to Refresh” command appears.

If synchronization does not occur immediately, there may be insufficient data to transfer or your phone may need more time to sync. Wait a few seconds and try again.

Depending on your watch model, you can enable or disable Bluetooth in two ways:

> For LIFE2, LIFE2+ or MATE2 watch models:
1. Open the NOERDEN Life App.
2. Click on “Device” on the bottom tab.
3. Click on “Disable Bluetooth” and your watch will then disconnect from Bluetooth.
To turn the Bluetooth on again, click on “Device disconnected”. The icon will change to “Device connected” once your watch is connected again.

> For LIFE, LIFE+, MATE or MATE+ watch models:
1. To turn on your watch’s Bluetooth wireless connectivity press and hold the button for 3 seconds.
The indicator light on the watch face will flash 5 times. This indicates that your watch’s Bluetooth wireless connectivity is enabled.

2. To turn off your watch’s Bluetooth wireless connectivity, press and hold the button for 3 seconds.
The indicator light on the watch face will flash once. This indicates that your watch’s Bluetooth wireless connectivity is disabled.

No. Your watch can only be associated with one account at a time.

The NOERDEN Life App displays data from the device currently connected to the App. If no device is connected to the App, it will display the data provided by the device that was last connected.

To see which device is currently connected to the NOERDEN Life App:

  1. Open the NOERDEN Life App.
  2. Click the “Device” button at the bottom.
  3. On this page you can see which device is connected to the Application.
  4. Click the “Connect / Disconnect” button on the desired device to connect or disconnect it from the NOERDEN Life Application.

Before giving your watch to another user, you must first follow the steps below.

1. Remove the watch from your App:

> Open the NOERDEN Life App.
> Click on the 3 small dots under the image of the watch you wish to remove.
> Then press the “Delete” button that appears.

2. If you have an iPhone, you have to ‘forget’ your watch from your iPhone:

– Go to the settings of your device.

Please make sure the batteries are properly inserted, the film covering the display has been removed and the batteries are not dead or low.

The batteries are low, please replace them.

Body composition changes constantly and may slightly differ during different times. Make sure that you take measurements under the same conditions for accurate results. Also, please remember to place the scale on a hard, flat surface.

Reset the scale by removing and replacing the batteries. Please don’t step on the scale until the screen displays “0.0”.

Make sure the parameters you set in the App (kg, lb) are correct and that your feet are properly touching all 4 sensor pads.

The scale is based on the principle of BIA (Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis). If the user’s physical condition changes (such as through sickness, sweating, overeating) the measurements will differ accordingly.

This watch firmware update (OTA) is designed for LIFE2, LIFE2+ and MATE2 watch models.

FIRMWARE UPGRADE PROCESS

First, make sure you are connected to Bluetooth and that neither your phone nor watch battery are low. Next, bring your watch close to your phone before starting the firmware upgrade.
Note: Because the Bluetooth connection for certain Android phones is unstable during the firmware upgrade process, the upgrade will not be supported.

During the firmware upgrade, the watch will be in OTA mode. This means that the indicator light on the watch face will continuously flash red. If the OTA fails, the watch will stay in OTA mode.

When your watch is connected via Bluetooth, the App will automatically check the firmware. If the firmware is outdated, the App will prompt you to upgrade, as shown below:

When you click “Confirm”, you will be redirected to the App Settings page and the firmware upgrade will begin, as shown below, then the upgrade will start:

IMPORTANT:

  • placing the watch outside of your phone’s Bluetooth range;
  • turning off Bluetooth;
  • deleting the NOERDEN Life App.

Any of these will cause the firmware upgrade to fail and the watch will be stuck in OTA mode.

– Never delete the NOERDEN App if the firmware upgrade has been interrupted or else the process will fail permanently, and the watch will need to be sent back.

– In case of interruption during the process, please keep the watch close to the phone and try again.

IN CASE THE UPGRADE FAILS

Solution 1
All NOERDEN watches are packaged in off mode. So when you use your Noerden watch for the first time and remove it from the packaging it will need to be turned on.
To turn it on, press and hold the watch button for 3 or 4 seconds until the indicator light on the front of the watch flashes 6 or 7 times quickly.

Press the button of your watch once, look at the face of the watch and check the indicator light at the NOERDEN logo on the front of the watch (at 12 o’clock).
– If the indicator flashes 6 or 7 times fast, it means that your watch is working but it is not connected to your smartphone. Your watch is working.

Thanks to automatic global time synchronization, if you travel and change your time zone, your watch will automatically be on time.
When your smartphone changes time zone an order Appears in the NOERDEN Life App telling you that you have changed timezone. Click “OK” and your watch will automatically go to time.

In order for automatic clock synchronization of your watch to work, make sure that:
– The time of your smartphone is properly synchronized with the new time zone.
– Your watch is well connected to your NOERDEN Life App.
